304 – US SPRINGFIELD MODEL 1888 TRAPDOOR RIFLE WITH ORIGINAL TOOLS:
In very good plus original condition. 45-70 caliber. Complete with its original ramrod bayonet, front sight cover and tools in butt stock (see photos). Very good metal bearing a pleasing age patina and retaining some of the original finish in protected areas. Fine markings. Excellent action. Very good stock with some normal handling marks. Very good 1891dated inspector cartouche and excellent P ball stamp. Fine bore with excellent rifling. A nice and classic US infantry rifle! Free shipping.
