508 – NICE FRENCH 19th CENTURY NAVY OFFICER CHAPEAU HAT:
In very good original condition showing some normal wear. 17 /14 inch long by 6 ½ inch wide by 6 inch high. Circa 1870. Complete with its tri-color cockade and gilded button with anchor. Original red silk liner with leather sweat band with some minor loose stitching. Faint and illegible maker’s stamp on sweat band. A scarce and attractive French Naval chapeau! Free shipping.
