509 – RARE FRENCH NAPOLEONIC 1st EMPIRE CUIRASSIER CUIRASS BREAST PLATE ARMOR:
In good general condition. 17 inch high and 14 3/4 inch wide. Front plate only. Absolutely authentic (some brass rivets appear to have been replaced at some time). Good metal bearing recent surface rust that could be cleaned with some energic elbow grease. Heavy age patina inside. Illegible markings on the upper right shoulder (see photos). A rare and desirable Napoleonic heavy cavalry cuirass! Free shipping.
