In very good plus original condition. 100% authentic. 37 ¼ inch overall length. Very good 31 1/8 inch blade with good etched décor on both sides and ricasso markings. Smooth age patina throughout. No nicks, dings… on the cutting edges. Blade and hilt are perfectly tight together. Fine hilt retaining most of its original gilt finish. Fine grip retaining 100% of its original wiring. In its fine original brass mounted steel scabbard retaining a large amount of its original nickel finish mixed with a smooth brown patina. A desirable Springfield Armory sword! Free shipping.
