In fine to excellent general condition. Absolutely authentic. Made Circa 1816 for the Body Guards of Charles X (brother of Louis XVIII – King of France after Napoleon reign). 56 ¼ inch overall length. 17.1mm caliber. Entirely brass mounted. Excellent metal showing a light age patina and some minor surface staining. Excellent action. Excellent markings. Original “Gardes Du Corps De Monsieur” marked gilt finished oval plaque on wrist. Serial number 225 at breech. Fine stock with fine inspector stamps and cartouches. Some normal handling marks and an old repair on the front right side (see photos). Original ram rod.
