In very good original untouched condition. 58 caliber. 56 inch overall length. Very good metal bearing a heavy, untouched age patina throughout. Some moderate oxidation on the trigger guard and on buttplate. Fine markings. Excellent action and fine bore with excellent rifling. Original cleaning rod. Very good stock with normal handling marks throughout. 1864 dated on the lockplate. A desirable US rifle! Free shipping.
