307 – SCARCE CIVIL WAR SHARPS & HANKINS MODEL 1862 NAVY CARBINE:
In good to very good original condition. 24 inch barrel. 52 caliber. Very good metal bearing an untouched age patina throughout with some fine oxidation in areas. Fine markings. Excellent action and good bore with fine rifling (will clean-up to better). Good original barrel leather liner is showing some normal losses (see photos) with all solid stitching. Very good stock showing one tight stress crack on the right side of the wrist (see photos). No looseness. Brass butt plate. A scarce and desirable Civil War carbine! Free shipping.
