In very good plus original condition. 45-70 caliber. Complete with its original ramrod bayonet, front sight cover and tools in butt stock (see photos). Very good metal bearing a pleasing age patina and retaining some of the original finish in protected areas. Some light case colors on breech block. Fine markings. Excellent action. Very good stock with some light handling marks. Light inspector cartouche and P ball. Excellent bore with excellent rifling. A nice and classic US infantry rifle!
