304 – SCARCE US NAVY WINCHESTER HOTCHKISS RIFLE:
In good general condition. 45-70 caliber. 28 ¾ inch barrel. Very good metal bearing a pleasing and smooth age patina throughout. Some fine oxidation on barrel’s top. Fine markings. Excellent action and bore. Good stock having been varnished at some time and showing an old wrist repair (see photos). Normal handling marks and a tiny wood loss on the left side by the end cap. No cleaning rod. A desirable Winchester Navy rifle that would be worth restoring! Free shipping.
