Fine brass hilt bearing a pleasing age patina and retaining traces of its original gilt finish. Fine original ebony grip. Excellent 31 inch blade showing a nice engraved décor and retaining most of its original bright blue and gilt finish. No markings. No nicks, dings… on the cutting edge. Blade and hilt are perfectly tight together. In its fine original brass scabbard with steel drag. A very nice 1st Empire French Napoleonic cavalry saber! Free shipping.
