845 – NICE NAMED GERMAN WW1 OR WW2 OFFICER SWORD: In very good plus original condition. 33 ¼ inch overall length. Very good grip retaining all of its original silver wiring. Brass hilt with “HAUPTMANN BUCHMANN F.A.R. 34” engraved on the right languet (See photos). Fine 28 ½ inch blade showing evidence of edge sharpening and maker’s markings under the left languet. In its very good original brass mounted steel scabbard showing some normal handling marks. An attractive and nicely marked German officer’s sword! Free shipping.
