In fine general condition. Absolutely authentic. Made Circa 1816 for the Body Guards of Louis XVIII (King of France after Napoleon reign). 56 ¼ inch overall length. 17.1mm caliber. Entirely brass mounted. Fine metal showing a light age patina and some minor surface staining. Excellent action. Excellent markings. Original “Gardes Du Corps Du Roi” marked oval brass plaque on wrist. Unit marked on the left side. Very good stock with an old repair on the right side by the muzzle band (see photos). Ram rod.
